About Parents Advocating for Cannabis Education

Based off the understanding that there is a lack of resources for parents specifically and after meeting with multiple cannabis consuming parents, Parents Advocating for Cannabis Education was born.

P.A.C.E was born with the understanding and belief that a community-based education could truly change the world and change the negative public perception of cannabis. Cannabis has been used medicinally for thousands of years; it is our responsibility to undo the damage that has been caused by years of misinformation. While we believe change is possible, we understand that it will take a village, a strong community to make a lasting impact.

The first two years of our organization will be dedicated to building a community of Canna-parents and professionals. This will give us the foundation we need to create an effective curriculum that is experience-based and science backed. In the third year we will form a cannabis education committee. This committee will be comprised of parents, doctors, teachers, and law enforcement professionals. Our goal is to teach responsibility over abstinence.

Years four and five will be focused on finalizing the curriculum and presenting it to officials, school, and government alike. At this time, we will take steps to build a leadership program, putting our education program into action. Together we have the ability to change the way the world views the consumption of marijuana. It is our responsibility to undo the mess that our predecessors created. We invite you to come and be a part of our community of Parents Advocating for Cannabis Education.
